I made Smitten Kitchen’s jacked up banana bread tonight, but added cardamom and walnuts. It was good (and a perfect accompaniment for my cinnamon rooibos tea), but next time I think I’d sprinkle a bit of brown sugar on the top for a crusty caramelized sugary crunch.
